Senior Advisor (Temporary)
  • Location: Manchester (Hybrid – Minimum 2 days per week in office)
  • Job Type: Temporary, 3 months
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
  • Salary: Depends on experience

Join a prominent technology solutions provider as an HR Advisor. This temporary role is perfect for an experienced HR professional who excels in employee relations and HR administration, offering expert advice and support across various personnel matters.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide expert advice on a range of employee relations cases including absence management, performance issues, disciplinary actions, grievances, and flexible working requests.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive case records and documentation.
  • Handle HR administrative processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes.
  • Assist in HR reporting and data management.
  • Aid in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the HR team with ad hoc projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an HR advisory role, with a strong focus on employee relations.
  • Ability to manage various ER cases independently from initiation to conclusion.
  • Thorough knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities.
  • Proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented.
  • CIPD Level 3 (minimum) or equivalent experience.
