Senior HR Advisor
Tunbridge Wells office – hybrid working 2 days a week

My client is a well-respected law firm with a great reputation within the legal world, and they’re currently looking to expand their HR team with the addition of a Senior HR Advisor. This is a true people partnering role in a progressive firm with ambitious growth plans.

Responsibilities
- Managing the employee life cycle for key areas and roles in the business, to include recruitment, onboarding and employment terms.
- Provide guidance on performance management, employee relations, and exits.
- Developing & managing the firms graduate, work placement and apprenticeship programmes.
- You will cover all aspects of a busy people partnering role, ensuring alignment with the firms People Strategy and Business Plans – this will include delivering pragmatic, bespoke and business-focused HR solutions, while building strong relationships with managers and employees across all levels.
- Represent the firm at careers fairs, building relationships with educational institutions to promote career pathways in law.
- Enhance the firm’s employer branding through digital platforms, including the website and social media.
- Support learning and development activities for all staff groups, ensuring alignment with career progression frameworks.
About you
- You must have specialist experience in a HR team, preferably from a professional services environment but other industries will also be considered.
- You will hold a CIPD qualification, or equivalent in Personnel and Development.
- You will possess exceptional organisational skills, with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities under challenging deadlines.
- You will need to demonstrate a professional, calm, and supportive demeanour and show yourself to be reliable, trustworthy, and approachable, with a high degree of discretion.
- You will be an effective relationship builder with strong interpersonal skills, including patience, confidence, and tact.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR databases (experience with OpenHR will be beneficial)
