Location: Rotherham Hospital, Moorgate Road, Rotherham, S60 2UD

Pay Rates: £19.10 per hour

Shift Patterns: Monday- Friday 9am-5pm (37.5 hours per week)

HR plays a vital role in bridging the gap between management and healthcare professionals. Many organisations consider HR the link between organisational strategy and front-line people management. You'll make sure that our colleagues both on the frontline and behind the scenes are fully supported and able to do their jobs.

You'll find solutions to everyday problems, such as:

  • Work within broad policy guidelines, providing HR advice and support to line managers throughout the Trust regarding consultation & organisational change
  • Interpret complex policy and employment legislation in order to provide advice and guidance to meet various situations.
  • Responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective progress of complex employee relations cases and support managers in the Trust.
  • May also be expected to contribute to and lead on specific HR projects and activities as directed.
  • Work autonomously in complex cases within broad policy or legal frameworks.
  • taking part in meetings and formal hearing and producing notes, formal minutes and reports. Ensuring this is compliant with law, policy and good practice. Consideration of matters up to dismissal and appeal of lower sanctions
  • Support managers to enact change management interventions including TUPE, redundancy, contractual changes and behavioural / cultural change

What you'll need:

  • Associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) through intermediate study (at level 5 or higher), or significant progress towards completion, or significant experience at senior advisory level
  • HR Experience
  • NHS Experience
  • Experience of supporting organisational consultation process
  • Familiar with employment law and AFC terms and conditions
  • Ability to support consultation meetings
  • Excellent communicator
  • Project Management experience (desirable)

This role may require you to show evidence of education to Degree level or Professional HR Qualification or at least 2 years relevant HR experience.
