Major Healthcare are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistants to cover shifts in Care Homes throughout Teesside.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents
• Leading a team of healthcare assistants to ensure high standards of care are delivered
• Administering medication, as prescribed, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately
• Maintaining individual care plans
• Undertaking all aspects of personal care
• Liaising with healthcare professionals
• Maintaining accurate documentation

We are looking for staff who have the following skills and experience:

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
• At least 12 months experience, working as a Senior Healthcare Assistant in care homes within the UK
• Confident administering medication
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to pay for a DBS)
• Excellent communication skills
• A genuine passion for providing high-quality person-centred care
• A full UK driving licence would be advantageous
