This role is a 12 month FTC for the team. Job Description
  • Ensuring all funds are managed according to client, regulatory and internal risk management guidelines.
  • Carrying out investigative work and department reporting is carried out accurately and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Manage, prioritise and authorise GMC's systematic development to ensure the team is monitoring in line with business requirements.
GMC Monitoring
  • Ensuring the Pre and Post Trade requirements from all IMA/Regulatory/client guidelines for funds are captured in Bloomberg AIM and Charles River
  • Review and challenge of all related pre and post trade output and appropriate critique of results
  • Question and challenge contradictory/inappropriate guideline proposals/amendments
  • On-going maintenance and improvement of the GMC monitoring processes with a focus on standardisation and automation
  • Ensuring Senior Managers are kept informed of all progress and issues
  • Forming and maintaining effective working relationships with GMC team members and key stakeholders
  • Maintaining an open and effective dialogue with Fund Managers in relation to monitoring issues, reporting and client changes
Client service
  • Thorough review and interpretation of client guidelines
  • Sign off processes and procedures followed
  • Development of key stakeholder working relationships
  • Knowledge of client products and rationale behind investment
QualificationsProfessional Requirements
  • Relevant industry experience in market trade compliance management
  • A solid understanding of the investment process
  • Knowledge of markets and products/strategies/regulatory environments
  • Intermediate level of experience in Excel
  • Ideally some Charles River Exposure or knoledge.

  • Strong communication skills - especially in relation to fund managers and client teams
  • Determined, self-motivated and resourceful to achieve objectives
  • Ability to absorb, interpret, apply and communicate information effectively
