Senior Group Reporting Manager, PE Backed Sustainability, London, £100k + bonus
A global sustainability organisation is seeking an exceptional Senior Group Reporting Manager to join their high-performing Group Finance function. This is a key role within Group Finance, reporting to the Global Head of Group Reporting, and working closely with the CFO and other senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will take ownership of group financial reporting and play a vital role in driving excellence, transformation, and leadership across a complex, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in line with IFRS, ensuring timely and accurate reporting across all global entities.
- Manage multi-currency intercompany reconciliations and working capital analysis.
- Respond to ad hoc investor requests with speed, accuracy, and insight.
- Integrate newly acquired businesses into group reporting processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and data quality.
- Partner closely with FP&A, Tax, and Treasury teams to support broader business objectives.
- Manage data integrations from various source systems to ensure integrity and consistency in reporting outputs.
- Drive system improvements to streamline reporting and maximise functionality.
- Support year-end planning and execution in collaboration with regional and statutory reporting teams.
- Manage, mentor and develop a team of four finance professionals.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all external reporting outputs.
- Provide coaching, quality review, and continuous feedback to drive team performance and development.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA or equivalent) with strong technical reporting experience in a complex international environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to producing high-quality outputs.
- Logical and methodical approach to tasks, with excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong analytical skills - able to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly.
- Confident in using finance systems (experience with OneStream or similar consolidation tools is highly desirable).
- Leadership experience - able to motivate, develop and manage a team effectively.
