Job Description :

We are seeking a Senior Group Finance Analyst to support consolidated management reporting and financial systems operations across a complex group finance environment. This role plays a key part in delivering accurate, timely financial insights and maintaining the integrity and performance of reporting systems.

You will act as a critical link between finance teams, systems specialists, and senior stakeholders—supporting forecasting, consolidation processes, and promoting best practices in financial data management. The position also supports continuous improvement initiatives and system training across the wider user base.

This role is offering £400-500 a day inside IR35 

September start, contract through until June 2026

Hybrid working from London office 2-3 days a week

Responsibilities:Management Reporting
  • Prepare and consolidate monthly and quarterly management reports, including insights and recommendations for executive-level stakeholders.

  • Conduct detailed analysis on financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Support ad hoc financial analysis to guide strategic decision-making.

  • Drive improvements in reporting processes, data quality, and automation.

  • Collaborate across divisions to build a consistent, group-level financial narrative.

  • Ensure robust controls over financial reporting and balance sheet integrity.

Systems & Data Management
  • Support data validation and uploads across core financial systems (e.g., SAP, BPC).

  • Act as a subject matter expert and point of contact for system users.

  • Identify and implement improvements to system processes and reporting tools.

  • Lead and support training for finance systems, maintaining user guides and resources.

  • Assist with change requests, system testing, and upgrades.

  • Ensure compliance with audit and control standards.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Liaise effectively with finance, technology, and external partners to resolve issues and support initiatives.

  • Communicate system changes, timelines, and impacts clearly to stakeholders.

  • Provide support during audits and ensure documentation is up to standard.

  • Deputise for the Finance Manager when required.

Requirements:
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

  • Strong understanding of financial processes and controls in a complex organisation

  • Proficient in analysing financial data and presenting insights clearly, effective communicator with experience influencing both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP (S/4 , BPC) and/or other financial planning and consolidation tools

  • Experience producing board-level management reports and consolidating accounts for group reporting
