Senior Full Stack Developer

  • Salary up to £90,000
  • Office in Canary Wharf
  • 2 x per week in the office

Responsibilities:

  • Embrace a hands-on coding role, diving deep into software development.
  • Create highly scalable software solutions to enhance functionality and durability.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider team to refine requirements, ensuring feasibility and pragmatism, and validate development tasks in Jira.
  • Transform designs into highly performant code.
  • Create new user-facing features using React.js.
  • Develop front-end components using JavaScript and CSS, seamlessly integrating them with back-end Python components
  • Manage design, build, and test bug-fix priorities.
  • Prepare, review, and construct reusable components and front-end libraries.
  • Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing applications.
  • Optimize microservices for peak performance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' Python coding experience
  • 3+ years using the Django framework.
  • Experience within a Front-end Development role
  • Experience within a line management capacity
  • Proficiency in microservices and related tools
  • Expertise in RESTful API development and management
  • Familiarity with databases, including SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Linux OS
  • Strong understanding of design patterns and relevant implementation models
  • Proficiency in DevOps tooling and a working knowledge of cloud infrastructure services
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Mentorship of junior developers and cultivation of a culture of continuous learning and growth.
