Cedar is currently partnered with a private equity-backed technology and infrastructure business to secure an Interim Senior FP&A Analyst. This is a 6-month contract, paying a day rate between £550-650.

The RoleAs Interim Senior FP&A Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering planning and analysis across FP&A, corporate functions, headcount, and M&A activities. Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in preparing and analysing consolidated results for Board reporting, budget packs, and ad hoc requirements. You will lead the development of consolidated budget and planning models, own the headcount and staff cost model, and support forecasting across all corporate functions. You will also be directly involved in modelling and tracking M&A performance and group cashflow forecasting.

  • Prepare and analyse consolidated group results for Board reporting, budget packs, and ad hoc requests
  • Build and maintain robust consolidated budgets and planning models for internal presentations
  • Own headcount and staff costs modelling, engaging with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and transparency
  • Deliver forecasts for corporate functions spend and review with senior business stakeholders
  • Support modelling and tracking of M&A activity, ensuring timely and detailed reporting
  • Own and update group cashflow modelling for all forecasts and budgeting cycles
  • Identify and drive efficiencies and process optimisation in financial planning and consolidation

Your ProfileYou will ideally have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA)
  • Extensive commercial finance experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • A proven ability to provide actionable financial insights beyond standardised reporting
  • Strong Excel modelling skills with a track record of building robust, scalable models
  • Experience engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrable ability to manage competing priorities and work to tight deadlines
  • Prior experience in telecoms or infrastructure is advantageous
