Enthusiastic Senior Fire Engineer required to support a specialist fire engineering consultancy based out of their attractive head office in Manchester, based just by Deansgate.

The senior fire engineer will join a reputable firm that is supported by 10 chartered professionals, and work on projects spanning various sectors. Career growth and a pathway to chartership status is highly encouraged and you will be supported in achieving your career goals.

The Senior Fire Engineer

As the senior fire engineer you will be expected to:

• Assist with large complex projects across varying stages of project lifecycle
• Manage projects of your own
• Technical design engineering responsibilities - smoke control, CFD, evacuation etc.
• Use of fire engineering software such as CFAST, Pyrotism
• Ensure projects are delivered on time
• Provide the most ethical and financial solutions to building/ fire safety.
• Support junior staff members

The Fire Engineer Qualifications

It is desirable to have any of the following:

• Engineering or fire related BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng
• AIFE / AIFireE
