Senior Financial Reporting Specialist - 6-month contract - eFinancialCareers : Job Details

Our client, a commodities firm, is looking for a Senior Financial Reporting Specialist to join their team in London for a 6-month Fixed-term contract.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare financial statements in Excel, Word, and financial systems under US GAAP, UK GAAP (consolidated), and other regional GAAPs.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely audits and compliance with statutory reporting deadlines.
• Utilise consolidation and reporting platforms (NetSuite, Oracle FCCS, Mosaic, etc.) to optimise reporting workflows.
• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly management reports, including detailed analysis and commentary.

You will need to have the following experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on financial reporting experience, preferably within the commodities trading sector.
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, UK GAAP, and IFRS, with proven application in practice.
• Skilled in preparing consolidated accounts and statutory financial statements.
• Demonstrated experience working with auditors, regulators, and tax advisors.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, strong Word skills, and familiarity with reporting/consolidation systems
