Senior Financial Accountant - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyA global listed tech-driven business is seeking a qualified Senior Accountant to join its financial reporting team. The company operates across multiple regions and values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This is the ideal role for an auditor looking to move to industry.Your new role

• Coordinating with auditors and internal teams to ensure smooth audit processes
• Preparing statutory trial balances and GAAP adjustments
• Submitting financial surveys and supporting cross-functional projects
• Ensuring documentation and compliance for audits and SOX requirements
• Collaborating with global stakeholders across finance, tax, and legal
• Driving process improvements, automation, and system implementations

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA / CAANZ qualification (or equivalent)
• Strong audit and financial reporting experience
• Knowledge of IFRS and/or local GAAP
• Experience of finance systems (NetSuite would be preferred, but not essential)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

What you'll get in returnA 6-month contract, with the opportunity to extend.
