Senior Financial Accountant - Agilis Search : Job Details

We are currently recruiting for a prestigious business in Ipswich, who are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and compliance.Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards- Responsible for year-end statutory accounts- Conduct financial forecasting- Oversee the preparation of budgets and financial plans- Ensure compliance with VAT, tax regulations and liaise with external auditors- Provide strategic financial insights to senior management- Lead and mentor finance teamKey Skills:- You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with substantial Financial Accounting experience - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial compliance and regulations- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills- Effective communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
