Senior Financial Accountant - Robert Half : Job Details

We are looking for an ex-Auditor with experience in industry or a Management or Financial accountant from a contract related industry (Outsourcing) to join one of the world's leading Facility Services companies as a Senior Financial Accountant. Paying up to £70k and based in Central London (Hybrid Working). This role will involve line management of a team of financial accountants.

The Role

• Review of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring compliance with the UK&I reconciliation requirements, and driving accuracy in financial reporting by proactively ensuring reviewer recommendations are implemented.
• Ensure Month-End Close activities, including the calculation, review and processing of all accruals, prepayments, revenue related transactions across customer contracts.
• Balance sheet control activities, including preparation of prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, contract receivables, provisions.
• Income Statement control activities, including analytical review procedures, customer profitability analysis, payroll review, overhead management.
• Support the external audit, Group and UK&I internal audits and Financial Controls & Assurance reviews.

Your Profile

• You will need to be a fully qualified accountant.
• You will need to be an ex-auditor with industry experience within some form of management or financial accounting role.
• Management or Financial Accountants coming from a contract related business (Facilities Management, security, catering, cleaning etc) are also being considered.
