Senior Financial Accountant South Leicester £50,000-£60,000 per annum

Join a dynamic and growing logistics business based in South Leicester. My client specialises in providing efficient and reliable logistics solutions to their clients, ensuring seamless supply chain operations. As they continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing payroll for the 3 UK entities monthly, reconciling attachments of earnings, PAYE, pension, and the apprenticeship levy, which also involves reallocating shared resource costs.Handling prepayments by site and ensuring reconciliation with the P&Ls and balance sheets.Reconciling rent-free agreements for applicable sites to align with group policy, ensuring accurate reflection in the P&L and balance sheet at period end.Managing the year-end audit with support from the Assistant Financial Controllers.Overseeing the procure-to-pay process, ensuring invoices are correctly posted to cost centres and GLs, and facilitating timely payments.Supervising the order-to-cash process, including raising client invoices, reporting accounts receivable, and managing Credit Control processes to meet agreed targets on Days Sales Outstanding.Collaborating with HR to maximise and track the apprenticeship levy account effectively.Conducting regular one-to-one sessions and fostering the development of finance assistants.Providing day-to-day support to the regional financial controllers.Assisting in the implementation of the internal control framework for the UK.Close collaboration with external auditors on Corporation tax matters.

You will be/have:

ACA/ACCA or CIMA Fully Qualified.Strong technical background developed in a top 20 accounting practice.
