Senior Finance Manager - Cedar : Job Details

Cedar is currently partnering a leading Media business to support the recruitment of a Senior Finance Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This opportunity offers a salary of £70,000 - £80,000 per annum + benefits, and is based in Central London on a hybrid working model.

A global force within the Media space, known for its dynamic approach to creativity, culture, and innovation. Operating across multiple international territories, they are expanding rapidly and require commercial finance support to drive decision-making and local growth.

The Role

As the Senior Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing all financial reporting across several global entities, including monthly P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet reporting.
• Leading the planning and delivery of annual budgets, forecasts, and internal reporting across international markets.
• Supporting AP/AR operations and working capital management in collaboration with local finance teams.
• Driving the roll-out of a new ERP system across regional markets, ensuring best practice and compliance.
• Supporting and reviewing financial models for new artist deals and investment opportunities.
• Assisting with royalty statement generation and liaising with royalty specialists across EMEA.
• Collaborating with local teams and external advisers on statutory tax filings and regulatory compliance.
• Providing strategic support on ad hoc analysis, including performance deep dives across territories, artists, and commercial initiatives.

Your Profile

You will ideally have:

• A recognised accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and a minimum of 2 years' PQE.
• Experience within a global or multi-entity organisation.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret financial data into actionable insights.
• A high level of proficiency in Excel; Oracle (HFM/GFS) experience is desirable.
• A proactive, collaborative approach to working in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with stakeholders across multiple countries and cultures.

Compensation & Benefits
