Senior Finance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in the success of our company. This interim position is based in London with flexible office and home working arrangements. The role involves improving processes and templates used by the finance function, performing reconciliations, and ensuring accurate and efficient reporting of financial information. You will be a key support to the Head of Finance and Group Financial Controller, contributing to the company’s financial goals and regulatory compliance.

Day to Day of the Role:

• Lead the audit for the UK entity, liaising directly with auditors and coordinating inputs from the finance function.
• Conduct analytical deep dives into areas requiring further investigation.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations for the company, liaising with Agency Finance Business Partners as needed.
• Manage intra-agency reconciliation and sign-off.
• Handle payroll reconciliations and monthly postings, including pension payment review.
• Assist with month-end management accounts review and variance analysis.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset register.
• Support the Head of Finance and Agency Finance Business Partners in the production of Budget/Forecast processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a similar role, with experience in the business services industry being desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and technical accounting skills.
• Knowledge of UK GAAP and audit processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with accounting and reporting software (Business Central/Navision desirable).
