Calisen is in an exciting and strong position where we are seeing growth and development in all areas of the business, and we now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager to join our finance department.

Within this role, you will assist the Financial Controller in preparing monthly accounts and reporting packs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Additionally, you'll play a vital role in supporting budget and forecast processes, liaising with various stakeholders including board members, senior management, department heads, and group directors. You'll also take charge of overseeing the day-to-day finance operations of the organisation, including managing the finance team effectively.

This is a permanent, full-time role opportunity working 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday. You’ll enjoy a hybrid working arrangement, granting the flexibility to work remotely from home while requiring a minimum of 2 days per week at the Wigan office. The annual salary for this position falls within the range of £65,000 - £70,000 with the specifics to be discussed during the hiring process.

What we are looking for

  • Higher level education (A-Level, Degree, or equivalent) plus a professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role with team management and development expertise.
  • Proficiency in process and controls, strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Computer literacy, excellent communication, interpersonal, and numeracy skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently, with strong organisational and administrative capabilities.
