Senior Finance Business Partner - Robertson Bell : Job Details

Robertson Bell assisting this £100m income charity in their search to recruit a new Senior Finance Business Partner role. Reporting into the brilliant Head of Finance you will manage two direct reports and have responsibility for month end reporting, budgeting, forecasting and holding regular meetings with key stakeholders.

Duties for this role will include:

• Produce timely and high-quality financial management information to meet various reporting requirements, including ad hoc, monthly, termly, and annual reports.
• Support and adhere to month-end processes and timetables, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and financial controls across all areas.
• Prepare thoroughly for annual organisational audits of financial statements and future ESFA audits.
• Support the development and implementation of new systems, policies, and controls as needed.
• Manage and enhance financial processes and systems for efficiency and alignment with the organisations broader processes.
• Monitor and manage financial performance against agreed objectives at both college and departmental levels, including key indicators like student numbers and staff hours.
• Stay informed about financial implications related to the college's charitable status and changes in accounting standards affecting ESFA or local authority payments.
• Coordinate with the contracts/legal manager to ensure the charity meets all contractual requirements.
• Oversee and direct the work of a Finance Business Partner and Finance Officer.
• Create budgets, business plans, proposals, and forecasts accurately and promptly.

This Senior Finance Business Partner will mostly work from home, with an expectation and requirement to attend regular key meetings. Most of these meetings will take place in London with additional occasional travel required to the south west – all travel can be expensed.
