Senior Finance Analyst FTC - MB Connected : Job Details

We have an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded, newly qualified Accountant to join a well-known, fast-growing business in Birmingham. This is a 6 month fixed term contract with the potential to become permanent, created to support the Finance team in enhancing reporting, analysis and valuations across the business.

This newly established role will work closely with the Finance Manager and Head of Finance to deliver accurate reporting, support valuations and provide insight to help drive business decisions. You will gain exposure to the company’s systems and help develop reporting capabilities to meet evolving business needs.

Key responsibilities:

• Produce, maintain and improve financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and insight.
• Support valuations and audit processes, challenging assumptions where needed.
• Analyse financial performance across business areas, highlighting trends and opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and support ad-hoc reporting requests.

Key requirements:

• Newly qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountant.
• Strong IT skills, with experience in reporting or system development.
• Experience in financial modelling and valuations.
• Ability to manage deadlines and workload effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
