Senior Facilities and Operations Manager Location:                    West Wales Hours:                         37.5 hours a week, Mon – FriLength of contract:    3 - 6 months, temporary ongoing

Main responsibilities of the role:

• Ensure all facilities are open, adequately staffed and fully operational according to published opening hours and business needs
• Deliver an outstanding experience for users, focussing on a friendly welcome, efficient booking and payment systems, high levels of customer service, targeted upselling of products and services, together with signposting to other organisational services
• Maintain an up to date risk register, bringing critical issues and potential breaches of legislation/compliance to the attention of the Head of Department  
• Ensure plans are in place for preventative maintenance, equipment lifecycle replacements and other measures to ensure operational integrity of facilities
• Manage staffing levels, rotas and contracts to ensure they meet the business needs
• Represent the department in communications with internal stakeholders including Finance, HR, Marketing, Estates etc to develop service delivery, ensure budget control, strengthen partnerships, and meet the strategic objectives
• Prepare business cases for intended capital projects and major building developments

Essential requirements:

• Experience in a senior management role within a leisure centre or gym facility is essential for this role
• You must be a Legend System User
