Are you an Estates Surveyor, seeking your next contract in the Exeter area?My client has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Estates Surveyor to join their Corporate Property Team on an initial interim basis.The successful applicant will estate manage a diverse commercial property portfolio and provide property advice to other Service Units.Responsibilities:

• To undertake the valuations and negotiations that arise in connection with:
• the grant of leases, tenancies, licences, wayleaves and easements
• terminations and lease end/surrenders
• rent reviews and lease renewals
• property disposal and acquisition
• insurance
• rating assessments
• lease re-gears
• capital accounting purposes/asset valuations
• To oversee the day-to-day management of property within the portfolio including the implementation of reviews and renewals, new lettings, debt collection, the administration of service charges, landlord’s consents, dilapidations, tenant management, repair requests and management, addressing arising health and safety issues and to develop and implement management practices for these areas of work.
• To provide all necessary property management advice to other units.
• To monitor, guide and assist the Assistant Estates Surveyors in progressing their own work caseload and, where appropriate, assist in training and professional development.
• To carry out such other duties and responsibility as may be allocated from time to time by the Principal Estates Surveyor.

  Requirements:

• Membership or Fellowship of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
• Eligibility as a RICS Registered Valuer
• Driver’s License
