Senior Dispute Resolution Solicitor  Guildford  A legal 500 firm is seeking a talented Senior Dispute Resolution Solicitor to lead their experienced and well regarded Dispute Resolution team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior legal professional with a strong background in commercial and civil litigation to step into a pivotal leadership role, managing a team of four and overseeing a broad range of complex, high-value disputes. You’ll bring proven experience, strategic insight, and a confident, commercial mindset to help us continue to deliver first class service to their clients, ranging from SMEs and partnerships to private individuals and professionals.What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead and manage a small team of lawyers, overseeing their caseloads and providing mentorship, guidance, and support.
  • Handle your own portfolio of high-quality matters including contractual disputes, shareholder and partnership issues, professional negligence, property and construction disputes, and contentious probate.
  • Advise and represent clients through litigation, mediation, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
  • Drive operational excellence, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and client-focused service.
  • Contribute to business development and strategic planning for the department.
  • Play an integral role in the senior management of the firm, collaborating across departments to a strong reputation in the market.
About You
  • A qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 10+ years’ post-qualification experience in dispute resolution or litigation.
  • A natural leader with a passion for developing and mentoring others.
  • Proven experience managing a team or leading complex multi-party litigation.
  • Commercially astute with excellent client-facing and negotiation skills.
  • A confident communicator and strategic thinker who can handle complex matters with professionalism and clarity.
  • Able to demonstrate a solid track record of delivering results and adding value to clients.
