Senior Director / VP - Data & AI StrategyHybrid | Permanent | £130,000 (negotiable) + Benefits

We're working with a leading organisation looking for a Senior Director / VP of Data & AI Strategy to define how data and AI are used across the business. This is a senior leadership role with real impact - shaping strategy, leading platform development, and embedding ML/AI into products and operations.

You'll be responsible for building a scalable, secure data ecosystem that supports insight-led decision making and innovation. Partnering with Product, Engineering, Operations and Finance, you'll ensure data is treated as a true strategic asset and that every initiative delivers measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the design of a modern enterprise data platform (Lakehouse/Warehouse, pipelines, cloud tooling).
• Develop and execute an AI/ML strategy, delivering predictive modelling, automation and advanced analytics.
• Define enterprise-wide data governance, ensuring security, transparency, and auditability.
• Act as the unifying force across departments to break down silos and deliver trusted insights.
• Set success measures for all data initiatives and ensure delivery against business goals.

What you'll bring:

• 10+ years in senior data, analytics or AI/ML leadership roles.
• Proven experience with modern platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure/AWS).
• Deep knowledge of data architecture, orchestration, and real-time analytics.
• Strong leadership and the ability to influence at executive level.
