Senior Developer

Our client requires a highly experience Senior Engineer to join their growing team. You will take a key role in maintaining and evolving the legacy on-premises software solutions. This role requires deep knowledge of C#, Winforms and PostgreSQL, with a strong understanding of how to modernise and support mature enterprise applications. You will be a hands-on contributor and provide technical leadership to intermediate and junior level engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance existing legacy on-premises solutions
• Investigate problem areas and study systems flow, work processes and datea usage
• Follow software development lifecycle
• Conduct system analysis to improve operations
• Recommend changes needs in procedures and policies
• Collaborate with cross functional teams
• Develop and support software engineers by providing coaching, advice and educational opportunities

Skills:

• Strong experience in C#, Winforms and PostgreSQL
• Web application development experience
• Excellent technical leadership skills and offering mentorship to team members
• Proven experience with unit/integration testing
• Problem solving skills, profiling skills and debugging
• Strong communication skills and documentation abilities
• Experience developing for a cloud platform (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS)
