Senior Data Project Manager

I am working with a global organisation that is expanding its data and analytics capabilities. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Project Manager to join their team and lead the delivery of strategic data projects that drive business performance.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, gaining exposure to global data operations and high-impact project delivery. You will ensure that data focused projects across the organisation are delivered in line with agreed time frames in order to make an impact on the overall success of the business.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for some of the following areas:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of global data and analytics projects using Agile and waterfall methodologies
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, demos and sprint-planning sessions
• Ensure consistent delivery across all data related projects, working cross function by applying best practices
• Forecast resource requirements and align project work with business priorities
• Provide stakeholders with regular updates on key project metrics

To be successful in the role you will have:

• Proven experience delivering Data and BI focused projects in Agile environments
• Strong enterprise delivery background with methodologies such as Prince 2
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies including Power BI, Databricks and the Azure tech stack

This is a hybrid role based in central London where you will work collaboratively alongside other members of the IT function 3 days per week, with the rest of your time working remotely. Some of the benefits included with the role are listed below:
