Senior Credit ControllerLocation: SystonType: Temporary AssignmentHourly Rate: Up to £16 per hourStart Date: ASAP

Macildowie are working with a well-established and people-focused organisation based in Syston, who are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Controller to join their finance team on a temporary basis.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with strong credit control expertise who can hit the ground running and add real value during a busy period. You'll be joining a supportive, collaborative team within a well-run organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactive management of customer debt, ensuring timely collection and resolution of queries
• Reconciliation of complex customer accounts and accurate allocation of payments
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally
• Regular liaison with customers via phone and email to secure remittances and resolve outstanding issues
• Supporting with purchase order management and financial year-end planning
• Assisting with write-offs, reporting, and ad-hoc finance administration as required

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Credit Control, ideally at a senior level
• Strong experience working with Sage
• Proven track record of managing aged debt and reducing debtor days
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively
• Public sector experience preferred, or experience working in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
