Senior Credit Controller | Temporary | Up To £16ph | Leicester

Are you an experienced Credit Controller who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys stepping in during times of change?

We're working with a leading food manufacturing business in Leicester to recruit a Temporary Senior Credit Controller. This is a short-term assignment to support the finance team through a period of transition and help reduce a spike in aged debt.

Job Title: Temporary Senior Credit ControllerHourly Rate: Up to £16 per hourLocation: LeicesterIndustry: Food ManufacturingDuration: 2-3 months (with potential to extend)

What you'll be doing:

• Taking ownership of aged debt and driving reductions across key accounts
• Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers
• Investigating and resolving invoice/payment discrepancies
• Supporting improvements to credit control processes and systems
• Acting as a senior team member, offering guidance to junior colleagues where needed

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience in a senior credit control role
• Background in manufacturing or a similarly dynamic sector
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP/finance systems
• Availability to start immediately or at short notice
