Senior Credit Controller - Grafton Banks Limited : Job Details

Grafton Banks Finance are working with a Commercial company with offices in Brighton, East Sussex to recruit a Senior Credit Controller on a full-time permanent basis. Offering Hybrid working 2 days in office and 3 days from home. Reporting into the Group Financial Controller and working in a small Credit Control team you will be responsible for supporting with the chasing of unpaid invoices and supporting in the management of the companies cashflow. This will include chasing B2B and B2C on a global scale.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Managing the day-day running of the aged debt
• Dealing with complex Customer invoice queries
• Allocation of Customer payments and managing corrections
• Taking credit card payments
• Chasing payments via telephone, email and building strong relationships
• Opening new accounts & checking credit history
• Chasing up overdue accounts
• Posting / emailing customer invoices & statements
• Streamlining processes and making improvements
• International clients managing communication of chasing payments in different time zones

The successful candidate will have previous practical experience of working in finance specifically within Credit Control at a senior level to self-manage the workloads and having the practical experience to manage the workload with minimal support . You will need to have strong communication skills both verbal and written to be able to communicate effectively and effectively chase payments into the business to both finance and non-finance professionals. You will need to have strong IT skills including Excel and accounting software.
