Job Description :

As Senior Contracts Administrator, your role is to execute, support and train the Contracts Legal team to adhere to Workwell Global processes on employment contracts, regulatory compliance, basic employment law, and corporate governance. Your direct line manager will be the Contracts Administration Manager.

Skills, Experience and Knowledge

  • Support the team to deliver at the highest standards of contract management.
  • Ensure you and the team maintain and adhere to the policies and procedures put in place.
  • Ensure you and the team adhere to applicable laws and regulations.
  • To monitor all potential legal risks and offer advice to effectively mitigate these risks.
  • Maintain and support the team’s understanding and changes in employment laws and regulations across the countries where we have workers.
  • Suggest and design improvements to optimise legal and compliance processes and enhance quality of delivery within the department.
  • Remaining up to date on emerging compliance trends, which include risks, cybersecurity, and right-to-work documentation.
  • To contribute to the performance of team KPIs and targets.
  • Be the first point of contact for complex cases and escalations.
  • Liaise and build interdepartmental relationships and cascade any changes or developments to the team
  • Liaise with other teams to check and approve special clauses requested by the client/ agency (special payment/finance-related clauses)
  • Chasing up agencies regarding contracts that are due to end and or negotiating extensions

Essential Experience Required

  • Experience working with international contractors and permanent workers
  • 2+ years of experience within employment contracts
  • Ability to negotiate with agencies or clients regarding contract clauses (removed/ amended)
  • Understanding of employment law or having the ability to source
  • High level of communication with effective influential skills
  • Working with contract management solutions to ensure the process of contracts runs smoothly.

Person Specification

  • Degree in Law/ Business Management (advantageous) or qualified by experience 3 years minimum
  • Excellent communication skills (written/ verbal/ audible) in English
  • Highly proactive and organised
  • Driven
  • A team player who leads by example

Salary £35,000 pa | Mon – Friday | Office Based Initially | Full Time, Permanent | London Office | WFH Monday after probation period
