Senior Content Writer - Ipswich - £35,000-£50,000

Cloudscope are recruiting on behalf of an innovative B2B organisation in Ipswich. Our client is an award-winning firm with a modern working environment, an experienced and close-knit team working from an eye-catching office space. We are seeking a dynamic individual experienced in editorial, content and copywriting to take a lead role and be part of an experienced in-house marketing team. You will be tasked with delivery and oversight of the company’s content strategy, enhancing their brand awareness, growing their online presence and delivering the voice of the organisation to their customer base.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy in line with business objectives
• Oversee all content creation, including website landing pages and articles, emails, social media content, award entries, leaflets, videos, infographics and press releases
• Optimise new and existing content for SEO and track content performance
• Support with content creation across communication and marketing collateral
• To aid and mentor junior marketing executives
• Liaise with guest writers, freelancers and editors
• Conduct content audits and maintain an editorial calendar
• Collaborate with wider teams to ensure content aligns with brand messaging and goals
• Stay updated on industry trends and content marketing best practices

• Experience targeting B2B audiences
• Proven cross channel content marketing experience (web, email, social media)
• CMS and SEO best practises, content optimisation

This role will suit an individual looking to take a lead role in delivering both content strategy and engaging content for the reader. You will ideally have copywriting experience in a regulated environment, like the finance sector.
