Senior Conference ProducerLondon£42,000 - £45,000Are you a hard-working event professional?Do you have the skills to produce a market-leading event?If this sounds like you then this could be the role for you.The Client:Based near Canary Wharf, they create market-leading events in the housing industry bringing in up to 9 thousand attendees! They also have publications that have over 25,000 subscribers.The company hosts the biggest housing event in Europe and looks to keep it that way as they're always looking to expand and grow. As part of their portfolio, they host conference and award events all year round. They also host a huge housing festival that brings in thousands of industry professionals.Skills Required:Previous experience in creating conferences and managing junior members will be very valuable.Being able to communicate effectively both written and verbally, is essential, as you will be both networking in person and over the phone with speakers and other important stakeholders. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint will be especially important in your creative productions as well as communication.It goes without saying, but to do well in a role such as this will require you to have a willingness to learn and be driven to handle a big workload and delegate among your team.Responsibilities:As a Conference Producer, you’ll be the brains behind the scenes making exciting and engaging content. You will have the creative freedom to bring your ideas to life and really put your passion into your work.
  • Research market trends by speaking to contacts as well as reviewing the market for challenges and solutions.
  • Design, develop and execute the conference program, this includes format and size of the events, agenda, features, and key partnerships.
  • Identify and liaise with speakers and stars in the industry.
  • Work closely with the marketing and events team by creating and delivering briefs.
  • Manage networking both over the phone and in person.
  • Assist the marketing team with web content, emails, socials, print, and video channels.
  • Analise competitors by comparing key features like content, format, and pricing.
  • Manage a team of 3 junior producers and delegate workload.
