This is a newly created role, and the official corporate level is open to discussion. I need someone with strong, existing experience and the ability to build and manage things independently.

Current Situation:

The UK, Asia, and Europe are currently covered from the US, despite having thousands of employees in these areas. This role is intended to centralise all compensation-related matters for the UK, Europe, and Asia in London. Automation is underway, so this will be a key part of the role.

The Role Requirements:

• You'll need to have experience in Compensation with global coverage (open to various industries, e.g., banking, insurance, etc.).
• This is a Senior Controller role, so you'll need a solid understanding of compensation-related Statutory Obligations, IFRS, month-end close, reporting, General Ledger entries and adjustments, commentary, salaries, and bonuses (cash, stocks, clawbacks, etc.).
• An accounting qualification is ideal, but not essential.
• You must be a strong and clear communicator.
• Experience working in tandem with Global Payroll is required.

This is an excellent and reputable investment bank with a strong reputation for looking after its people. You would report to a lovely local line manager, and the team works two to three days a week from the office.
