The Role

As a Senior Account Handler, you’ll:

• Manage a portfolio of mid-market and large commercial clients, supporting Account Executives and directly servicing key accounts.
• Work across a wide range of industries, handling complex risks and cases well beyond the SME space.
• Use Acturis (experience highly desirable) to process renewals, adjustments, and market submissions.
• Build strong insurer and underwriter relationships to deliver the best terms for clients.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the York office as the business continues to scale.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong experience handling commercial insurance clients (ideally mid-market or corporate).
• Confidence with complex cases and the technical detail that comes with them.
• Experience using Acturis (or similar broking platforms).
• A collaborative approach – able to work closely with Account Executives, underwriters, and your fellow handlers.
• The balance of professionalism and personality to fit a people-first, straight-talking culture.
