The Role
As a Senior Account Handler, you’ll:
- Manage a portfolio of mid-market and large commercial clients, supporting Account Executives and directly servicing key accounts.
- Work across a wide range of industries, handling complex risks and cases well beyond the SME space.
- Use Acturis (experience highly desirable) to process renewals, adjustments, and market submissions.
- Build strong insurer and underwriter relationships to deliver the best terms for clients.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the York office as the business continues to scale.

What You’ll Bring
- Strong experience handling commercial insurance clients (ideally mid-market or corporate).
- Confidence with complex cases and the technical detail that comes with them.
- Experience using Acturis (or similar broking platforms).
- A collaborative approach – able to work closely with Account Executives, underwriters, and your fellow handlers.
- The balance of professionalism and personality to fit a people-first, straight-talking culture.
