Senior Chemical Engineer - West Bromwich

Do you have experience working within a chemical manufacturing plant? Are you looking for a long-term role with clear paths for progression? Then this chemical company looking to add a Senior Chemical Engineer to the team is looking for you!

Your duties as a Senior Chemical Engineer include but are not limited to the following:

• Initiating, designing, implementing and commissioning Plant Modification Proposals.
• Deciding the scope and extent of hazard assessments, including initiating and leading HAZOPs as needed.
• Ensuring all chemical engineering work is done in compliance with the necessary regulations and standards.
• Acting as the Project Leader when specified with responsibility over budget, design and completion to agreed upon targets.

Requirements:

• Relevant Engineering degree.
• Experience with SIL and LOPA assessments.
• Demonstrated experience with DSEAR methodology.
