Senior Casualty Claims Specialist

Our Specialist Insurance client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Casualty Claims Specialist to join their London based team for a 6 months initial contract.

Skills and Experience:

Established experience in the London Market in Casualty classes

• Requires advanced knowledge of claims handling concepts, practices, procedures and techniques, including, but not limited to coverage issues, product lines, marketing, IT and product competition within the marketplace.
• Knowledge of all relevant regulatory and legal requirements as required
• The ability to effectively interact with brokers, clients and internal stakeholders is essential.
• Strong verbal, written communication, presentation and organization skills.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and decision-making skills with experience in large loss reporting.
• Flexible with an understanding of claims in a changing environment to support the efficient operation of the claims team
• Able to identify, monitor and report on market loss trends.
• Experience in mentoring less experienced members of staff.
