Senior CAD Technician - Finlay Jude Associates Limited : Job Details

Are you an experienced CAD Technician looking for your next role? Finlay Jude Associates are working with a leading company who specialise in providing solutions across the water, and wastewater industry.

Our client is looking to strengthen their CAD Team with a Senior or Principal CAD Technician with hybrid working available.The successful candidate will need extensive experience in the application of Common Engineering Software and IT and should have a strong working and theoretical understanding of 3D modelling standards and related QA processes.

The CAD Technician Job:

• Ensuring designs are completed in accordance with CDM Regulations
• Managing all workloads
• Acting as Digital Delivery Champion
• Coordinating Design Outputs across all technical disciplines
• Raising and resolution of technical queries
• To form working relationships with construction staff and supply chain representatives to promote efficiency in design outputs

The successful CAD Technician will have:

• Experience in an Engineering environment
• 2D Drafting Skills and 3D Modelling Skills
• Autodesk Revit and other 3D applications skills
• Bentley ProjectWise experience
• Extensive experience in the use and application of Common Engineering Software and IT
• Understanding of 3D Modelling Standards and QA Processes
• Key interests in the detail of how Civil Structures come together
• Ability to set targets to manage and motivate Multi-Disciplinary Teams to deliver to time, cost and quality objectives
