Position: Senior Buyer - £37,000 - £39,000 per annum

Location: Pershore

Are you a skilled and experienced Senior Buyer looking for a new opportunity in the steel fabrication industry? Our company is seeking a motivated individual to join our team and take on the role of Senior Buyer. As a CIPS qualified professional, you will be responsible for monitoring market trends, analysing data, and producing accurate forecasts to ensure our procurement processes run smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to stay updated on steel industry trends.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and pricing.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost-efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
• Analyse data to forecast future procurement needs accurately.

Requirements:

• CIPS qualification or actively working toward certification.
• Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the steel fabrication industry
• Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and procurement software
