Senior Business Analyst - James Frank Associates : Job Details

Our client, a leading business in the Financial Services industry is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.

Due to an exciting period of growth our client is looking to add a Senior Business Analyst to their team, where you will have the opportunity to oversee and develop a team whilst playing a pivotal part in the progress and direction of the firm.

The successful candidate will have experience in taking the lead on numerous projects, whilst also having oversight of team members alongside them. You will also have experience of the development lifecycle process analysis, creation of user story documents and the creation of technical design documents.

This is an office-based role, with one day working from home per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Input and responsibility for the system roadmap, ensuring timely updates and improvements
• Responsible for all projects, ensuring they are aligned with the company goals and strategies
• Manage and mentor a team of Business and Test Analysts, confident being the goto for any questions or queries
• Transform user stories into actionable technical design documents
• Creation of document such as project roadmaps, project plans, technical design documents, user case diagrams and more

Key Experience:

• Previous experience in a Financial Services firm would be advantageous, although not essential
• Good understanding of change management
• High level of competency in MS – Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
• Creation of documents such as project roadmaps, technical design documents and specifications
• Understanding or experience in Waterfall / Agile / Kanban methodologies
