Senior Business Analyst GDPR / Information Governance / Data ManagementRemote | Outside IR35 | £400 - £500We’re seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a project focused on strengthening data governance, compliance, and audit readiness within a large public sector organisation.Overview of role:

• Analyse and review existing information governance policies, frameworks, and practices.
• Support GDPR, data privacy, and compliance activities, ensuring regulatory alignment.
• Identify and document gaps, risks, and vulnerabilities, providing recommendations for remediation.
• Contribute to the design of a Data Governance Framework and Operating Model.
• Support the planning and design of Information Governance audits, including stakeholder engagement and audit scoping.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience as a Senior Business Analyst in data, compliance, or governance-led projects.
• Strong background in Information Governance, particularly GDPR, information privacy, and protection frameworks.
• Experience of Information Governance audits highly desirable.
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and delivering clear recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Contract:

• Outside IR35
• £400-£500
• Remote first (onsite for key meetings)
• Start date ASAP
• 6 month rolling contracts
