Senior Broker - JLD Recruitment Ltd : Job Details

Salary: £negotiable, subject to experience Location: Office based role in Westcliff On SeaHours: Monday - Friday 9am to 5pmHoliday: 20 general days plus bank holidays and Christmas close down

Summary of Role• To generate new business income using own contacts and from leads generated by our marketing team • To manage a book of existing clients in accordance with our company procedures• To develop close working relationships with our panel of insurers• To cross-sell products according to the demands and needs of clients.• To assist the Directors and other staff members when requested.

Key Skills and Experience Required• Experience working in the construction insurance sector• Excellent technical knowledge of Insurance including but not limited to Combined Liability, Contractors All Risks, Professional Indemnity and Motor Fleet • Competent on Acturis, Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook programs• Excellent written and telephone skills • A proven track record for meeting and exceeding targets• To possess excellent sales skills• To possess excellent negotiation skills• To understand and assist clients and fellow staff members with any Insurance queries
