• Ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards for HV electrical systems
• Carrying out inspections, testing, and maintenance on HV equipment
• Authorising and overseeing work on HV systems to ensure safety and efficiency
• Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians
• Developing and implementing HV safety procedures and protocols
• Ensuring all work is documented according to industry standards
• Collaborating with project managers to deliver electrical projects on time and within budget
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and standards

• Experience in electrical engineering, specifically within the energy sector
• Strong understanding of HV systems and safety procedures
• Proficiency in conducting inspections, testing, and maintenance on HV equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Relevant electrical engineering degree or equivalent qualification
• Certification or authorisation as an HV Senior Electrical Engineer is highly desirable
