Architectural Technician (Contract - 3 Months)Location: BirminghamSector: Residential / aviation Rate: £28 per hour +About the RoleThis practice is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Technician to join their team on a 3-month contract basis. This role is ideal for a technician with strong residential sector experience who can contribute immediately to ongoing projects.You will be working closely with architects and project leads to deliver high-quality technical drawings and construction packages. The role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced design environment.Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications for residential projects
• Prepare and coordinate construction packages in line with UK Building Regulations
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure design intent is maintained
• Assist in resolving technical issues on-site and during project delivery
• Ensure all documentation meets quality and compliance standards

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within the UK architecture sector
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Excellent portfolio
