Daily Duties
- Lead the planning and delivery of technical design packages across all RIBA stages
- Oversee day-to-day project management, ensuring design quality, client satisfaction, and profitability
- Coordinate with consultants, multidisciplinary teams, and project stakeholders
- Conduct technical design reviews, audits, and share lessons learned with colleagues
- Manage and mentor a small team of up to three direct reports
- Participate in practice-wide technical leadership initiatives
- Maintain excellent client communication and contribute to strong long-term relationships
Ideal Candidate
- Substantial post-qualification experience as a Project Architect or Technologist
- Professional qualification (RIBA/ARB or CIAT, or equivalent)
- Strong technical detailing skills with excellent knowledge of UK Building & Planning Regulations
- Experience across all RIBA stages, particularly stages 3-7
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and NBS, with the ability to mentor others in their use
- Demonstrated contract administration, project management, and financial oversight experience
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and organise teams effectively
- Strong communication skills, proactive approach, and enthusiasm for collaborative working
- Desirable: experience in heritage or conservation projects
