Senior Administrator

We are looking for an senior Administrator to join our client on a temporary basis - hybrid working is offered. This role is crucial for the day-to-day operations, requiring a high level of accuracy and the ability to work in a pressurised and sensitive environment.
Day to Day of the role:
- Administering and managing all aspects of the electoral registration process
- Assisting with the planning, coordinating, and conducting of all elections and referenda.
- Advising the public on registration entitlements and processes, including special category electors.
- Producing and distributing the register and updates, ensuring compliance with data protection.
- Managing the annual canvass, including recruitment and appointment of canvassers.
- Processing applications for absent votes and maintaining records.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to maintain an accurate register.
- Appointing and training staff for polling stations, counts, and postal vote handling.
- Booking polling stations and count accommodation and managing election equipment.
