Senior Administrator

  • £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
  • Portsmouth, Hampshire PO1 2AL
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm & 8.00am - 4.00pm

About Us:Comprehensive Elevator Services Ltd is an established Lift Maintenance Provider Company. We have numerous clients throughout the UK and have built our business by being customer driven and focused on providing an excellent service in all fields we cover.

We have an excellent reputation within the industry and almost all of our work has been obtained by recommendations. We are looking for an experienced permanent, full time Senior Administrator to join our team at our office in Portsmouth.

About the job:This role is office based role. You will report to our Operations Manager and the key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering and responding to incoming telephone calls, inquiries and email inquiries in a professional manner
  • Booking in of servicing and repairs
  • Ensuring jobs are completed on time
  • Communicating with customers regarding progress and status of works
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date records on the company database, including service visit recording, logging lift breakdown calls, raising repairs and closing down jobs for invoicing.
  • Ensuring customer databases and portals are updated daily
  • Preparing quotations following the completion of call outs, service visits and customer inquiries, following up on these and processing orders
  • Raising and sending purchase orders for lift components to suppliers
  • Assisting with the preparation of the monthly payment valuation to key account client
  • Dealing with invoicing
  • Filing and archiving of electronic and paper documents
  • Recording meeting minutes
  • Assisting with general office duties.
  • Any other duties when required to assist with the smooth running of the business

About you:

Along with having excellent communication skills, the ideal candidate will also be:

  • Computer Literate with an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Excel and Word
  • Be able to demonstrate attention to detail
  • Have excellent organisational skills.
  • Have excellent Customer Service Skills.
  • Be a team player who is motivated and professional at all times.
  • Uses their own initiative and can work independently.
  • Has a good work ethic.
