Senior Accountant - IPS Group : Job Details

We are working with a well-established firm of accountants who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Accountant to join their growing team.This is a varied role offering exposure across accounts, tax, and client management.You will work from modern purpose built offices and deal with a varied and interesting client base from local owner managed businesses to household name celebrities.Key responsibilities

• Preparation of annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Preparation of corporation tax computations and self-assessment tax returns
• Bookkeeping and VAT returns
• Reviewing and finalising year-end accounts and business tax computations
• Supporting clients with ad hoc queries as required

About you

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in accountancy practice
• Confident in the preparation and review of statutory accounts and tax returns
• Strong working knowledge of accounting software and Excel
• Proactive, organised, and able to work independently
• Professional and confidential approach when dealing with clients
