We're looking for a Senior Finance Manager to step into a crucial role during a 12-15 month maternity cover. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal part in advising senior leadership, driving financial strategy, and overseeing a wide range of financial services.

In this role, you'll work closely with the Head of Finance and Treasurer, providing expert advice on strategic and tactical financial matters. You'll also step in as a key figure when needed, deputising for the Head of Finance and acting as a Senior Corporate Manager within the organization. Your main mission: ensure smooth financial operations while leading a high-performing finance team.

• Lead a dynamic Finance Team to deliver top-tier financial services, including management accounting, statutory accounts, budget planning, and treasury management.
• Provide high-level advice to the Head of Finance and senior managers, ensuring that financial strategies align with the organisation's overall goals.
• Ensure the effectiveness of financial systems with strong control mechanisms, making sure decision-makers have access to reliable financial data.
• Evaluate new initiatives, investigate inefficiencies, and help guide financial decisions with insight and precision.
• Act as a mentor to non-financial managers, providing training on financial systems and policies.
• Represent Finance in cross-functional projects and meetings, making sure financial implications are always considered.
• Assist the Head of Finance and Treasurer in managing relationships with auditors and external partners.
• Step up to deputise for the Head of Finance when needed, taking on Senior Corporate Manager duties.

• A fully qualified CCAB Accountant (ICAEW, ACCA, ICAS, or Chartered Accountants Ireland).
• Extensive experience in financial management and leadership at a senior level.
• A knack for interpreting and presenting financial data in a clear and actionable way.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess financial and strategic issues and offer creative solutions.
• A resilient, proactive attitude with a problem-solving mindset that thrives under pressure.
