Role responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of clients including limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
• Preparing year-end accounts, tax computations and management accounts
• Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and offering technical support
• Building long-standing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
• Providing practical tax planning advice and ensuring compliance with current legislation
• Supporting clients with digital accounting and cloud-based systems

Candidate requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified with solid experience in a general practice setting
• Comfortable preparing and reviewing accounts and tax returns for SMEs

• Confident managing a varied workload and meeting deadlines
• Experience supervising and mentoring junior team members
• Proficiency in cloud accounting software is an advantage
