Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 per year (depending on experience)

Role Overview:

Our client is in search of a Senior Accountant to serve as a pivotal liaison between our Partners and junior staff. The preferred candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years' experience in UK practice, emphasising account production while excluding bookkeeping or junior roles. This role entails providing support to team members on inquiries related to accounts and VAT production, alongside actively participating in business development endeavours.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate financial statements and tax calculations.

- Prepare detailed management accounts.

- Prepare accounts for non-audit clients.

- Support in VAT return preparation.

- Provide guidance and support to junior team members.

- Contribute to business development efforts, including client acquisition and onboarding.

- Attend meetings with potential clients, send proposals, and facilitate the onboarding process.

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a UK-based practice.

- Experience managing clients and supporting junior team members.

- Proficiency in completing year-end accounts and reviewing others' work.

- Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate in a team environment.
